As part of its ongoing commitment to sustainable landscape management and public safety, Vicinity Centres commissioned a comprehensive audit of the tree population at Castle Plaza, Edwardstown. The audit aimed to provide up-to-date data on the condition, location, and associated risks of all trees within the property boundaries. This initiative supports long-term planning, maintenance efficiency, and environmental stewardship.
Overview:
Treesense Consulting were engaged by Vicinity Centres to undertake a Tree Population Audit for all trees located within the grounds of Castle Plaza, Edwardstown, South Australia. This is part of a routine management plan to document and maintain all trees within this area.
Outcome:
Treesense Consulting carried out assessments for 163 trees over two days. Risk assessments were carried out for each tree in order to prioritise the recommended management solution. GPS location software was used to accurately plot each tree on a location map to be included within the report. A detailed Tree Management Report and Risk Assessment provided to detail these recommendations in a clear and concise format in order to implement an ongoing tree assessment schedule.
